The BJP Central Election Committee will meet in New Delhi on Tuesday evening to finalise the first list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections.
The list is likely to have the names of most of the candidates for the first and second phase of polling, which will be held on 11th of next month in 91 constituencies and 18th April for 97 seats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and other top BJP leaders will attend the meeting.
The election for 543 parliamentary seats will be held in
seven phases till May 19 and the counting of votes will take place on 23rd of May.
The Central Election Committee of the party had met on Saturday. The party had released a list of 123 candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and 54 candidates for Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Sunday which are being held along with the Lok Sabha polls.
The elections for 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly and 60-member Assembly in Arunachal Pradesh will be held on 11th of next month.
