In Karnataka, the political activities took a new turn as the Speaker Ramesh Kumar said that only five of the 13 resignations by dissident MLAs are in right format. 

He informed yesterday that eight MLAs whose formats were found incorrect have been asked to resubmit the resignation letters. The five members whose letters were found in right format are being called for personal hearing on



coming Friday and Monday.

Meanwhile, BJP has decided to meet the state Governor and the speaker today. Its leader Arvind Limbavali informed media persons after the legislative party meeting yesterday that they will ask the Governor to intervene as the Government has lost majority and ask Speaker to accept the resignation letters of MLAs without delay
