Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda will be on a two-day visit to Uttrakhand beginning today to energize the party’s electoral campaign and garner support from the electorates. On the first day of his visit, Mr Nadda is scheduled to address meetings in support of BJP candidate at Pithoragarh in Almora constituency and at Vikasnagar in Tehri seat. Mr Nadda will address a rally in Pithoragarh at 12:30 pm today. Following that, he will address another rally at Vikas Nagar in Dehradun at around 4 pm.
 
Tomorrow, Mr Nadda is slated to seek blessings from revered saints in Haridwar, a symbolic gesture underscoring the party’s cultural and religious connections.



Subsequently, he will partake in a grand roadshow, showcasing the BJP’s strong presence and outreach in the region. Moreover, the BJP national president will also provide strategic guidance and insights to party members during the Trishakti conference at Haridwar. In addition to the public engagements, several organizational meetings are on the agenda during Mr Nadda’s visit.
 
Voting will be held on April 19 in the first phase for all the five Lok Sabha seats of the state. A total of 83 lakh 37 thousand 914 voters of the state will decide the fate of 55 candidates contesting for five Lok Sabha seats of the state.
