The BJP will
celebrate its impressive performance in Maharashtra and Odisha civic polls as
Vijay Utsav today across all its district offices in the country. Party's
national secretary Shrikant Sharma said, the decision to this effect was taken
by BJP President Amit Shah after the declaration of results in Maharashtra and
Odisha.
Mr Shah also congratulated Maharashtra
Chief
Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state unit chief Raosaheb Patil Danve over the
results.The BJP saw many victories in 2017, including in Chandigarh
civic polls, but the Odisha and Maharashtra are really special for the party.
Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, BJP has won all elections after
November 8, when demonetisation of 1000 and 500 notes was announced by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi.
