BJP will make Karnataka most prosperous state in southern India in next 5 years, says Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said if people in Karnataka vote for the BJP, the party will make Karnataka the most prosperous state in southern India in the next five years.

Speaking at 'Vijay Sankalp Samavesh' in Ballari, Amit Shah said the Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) are both parties of dynasties and in a democracy, no dynast can bring about real welfare of the people.

“I would like to remind you that every vote cast in favour of the JD(S) will help Congress. And every vote cast in favour of the Congress will lead to the formation of an 'ATM government'."

"The Congress formed a government in Karnataka under the leadership of Siddarahmaiah, who worked as the ATM of his political bosses in Delhi. Voting for Congress means enabling the formation of a corrupt government,” he added.

Reminding the voters of the anti-India role the Congress has been playing, the BJP minister said, "On one hand, people of Karnataka have the option to vote for the BJP--a band of nationalists and patriots under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the other hand, there is a party led by Rahul Gandhi which



backs the ‘tukde tukde gang’."

"I would like to remind you all that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who banned the PFI. When the Congress was in power, it withdrew more than 1,700 cases against PFI members,” said Shah.

Talking about the Ram temple that is being constructed in Ayodhya, Amit Shah said for years, the Congress hindered the construction of the temple. “As a result, the issue of building the Ram Temple remained unresolved for decades. But once you all blessed Modiji, he laid its foundation and it will soon come out as a magnificent temple,” he said.

The Union Home Minister also blamed the Congress for not taking action against terrorists. "The Congress remained in power for 10 years. Terrorist groups assailed India with one attack after another. The Congress did not take any action against the terror groups," he said.

"After Modiji came to power, he launched surgical strikes and air strikes in Pakistan within 10 days after the Pulwama attack and cleared terror camps within the territories of Pakistan. It is Modiji who can secure the nation and make India prosperous,” said the Home Minister.
