Bomb hoax call at Amritsar Airport creates panic situation

Amritsar: In Punjab, a bomb hoax call was received for an incoming Indian Airlines flight AI 170 from Gatwick UK to Amritsar consisting of 187 passengers today. The Director of Sri Guru Ramdass Ji International Airport Amritsar told that the flight was fully searched by the authorized



personnel following all procedures but no explosive or bomb was found. 

It was a hoax call, he added further. Later on, the flight again departed for Gatwick from Amritsar Airport with 240 passengers.
