Budget session of Gujarat State Assembly to begin today

The budget session of the Gujarat State Assembly will begin today. Finance Minister Kanu Bhai Desai will present the budget tomorrow. 

The session which will be held till the 29th of this month, will have 25 sittings of the House. On the first day, Governor Acharya Devvrat



will address the House. The house will then take up obituary references of former members of the House, who have passed away in recent times.

Around seven to eight Bills are likely to be put up for passage during the session.
