Budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha to begin today

The Budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will begin today afternoon.The session will begin with the Governor’s address and proceedings for the day will conclude with obituary references.

The session is likely to be a stormy as Indian National Lok Dal (INLD)and Congress have announced to corner the state government on issues of SYL canal, registration of cases against farmers and law and order situation. 

INLD and Congress have planned to present



their adjournment motions on March 6 on the issue of non-implementation of the supreme court order on SYL and seek suspension of business of the house and discussion on it.

The leader of Opposition Abhay Chautala said that INLD would take the government to task for failing to bring in SYL water. He said that they have given 25 call attention motions regarding the shortage of doctors and health staff, rising number of cancer cases and crime against women.
