By poll schedule for Six RS seats declared

The Election Commission yesterday announced by-polls to six Rajya Sabha seats. Three seats are from Andhra Pradesh, and one each from Odisha, West Bengal, and Haryana. The notification for the bypolls will be issued on 3rd December, and nominations can be filed until the 10th of the month. Polling and counting will be held on 20th



December. 

The seats are vacant due to the resignation of Members Venkataramana Rao Mopidevi, Beeda Masthan Rao Yadav, and Ryaga Krishnaiah from Andhra Pradesh, Sujeet Kumar from Odisha, Jawhar Sircar from West Bengal, and Krishan Lal Panwar from Haryana.
