Campaigning for the second and final phase of assembly elections in Gujarat will come to an end this evening. All political parties are making last ditch attempts to woo the voters.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel from Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad to Dharoi Dam via sea plane today. He will offer prayers at a temple in Ambaji.In a tweet, Mr Modi said his government is making efforts to harness waterways. The Prime Minister will also connect with the party workers on their mobile phones through the "audio bridge" technology.
He will directly interact with the divisional heads of the party's OBC units in the state.
Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President-designate Rahul Gandhi had plans to hold
road shows in Ahmedabad today.
However, Ahmedabad Police refused to give permission, citing traffic congestion and narrow roads.

Senior Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil is scheduled to address election meetings at Vadgam and Tharad in Banaskantha district and Khambhat and Borsad in Aanand district.
