Campaigning for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections will end this evening. 51 constituencies spread over 7 states will go to polls in this phase on Monday. Voting will take place for 15 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Rajasthan, 7 each in Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, 5 in Bihar, 4 in Jharkhand and one in Jammu and Kashmir.
Star campaigners of various political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold rallies in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar today. In Uttar Pradesh, Mr Modi will address two rallies in Pratapgarh and Basti, while in Bihar, Prime
Minister will address a public meeting at Valmiki Nagar.
BJP president Amit Shah will first hold a rally in Fatehpur and then will hold a road show in Amethi today in support of Union minister Smriti Irani. Union Home minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh, who is himself candidate from Lucknow, will campaign in Dhaurahra and Mohanlalganj.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi will hold rally in Sultanpur, while Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav will address public meetings in Bahraich and Gonda districts of Uttar Pradesh.
