Campaigning is going to end today afternoon for Sunday’s Tripura Assembly polls. Though the electoral battle appears multi-pronged, ruling CPI (M), BJP and Congress are the main forces in the fray in the elections. The counting of the votes will be held on 3rd of March. The campaign has reached the peak before the last hours of electioneering.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in the state today. Yesterday Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two rallies in Santirbazar and Agartala and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar addressed rallies at several places.

rallies yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this election is not being fought by the BJP and its candidates, he said it is being fought by the common people to change the misrule of the present government.
On the other hand, All India General Secretary of Mahila Congress Nagma Morarji said in a rally yesterday that during the rule of NDA government women are not safe in the country. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar termed BJP-IPFT alliance unholy in a rally in Barjala constituency. Today Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address the rally in Kailashahar of Unakoti district.
