Case booked against AP Assembly Speaker

Telangana sources have stated that as per report from sources it was stated that case has been booked against Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K Siva Prasada Rao in Karimanagar district based on a complaint lodged by YSR Congress party leader.
Meanwhile on the instructions of Chief Magisterial Judge, Karimnagar police have registered a case against the Speaker. YSR Congress leader S Bhaskar Reddy lodged a complaint



before magistrate that Kodela confessed to have spent Rs 11 crore to win in 2014 election and his comments deserved punishment to him.
 
It was stated that the complaint had argued the Speaker's comments attracted the violation of election code.

When taking serious note of the comments, the magistrate booked case and summoned him to attend the court by April 20.
