The CBI has arrested Kalyanmoy Ganguly, former President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in an on-going investigation of a case. It was alleged that the accused extended undue advantage and in conspiracy with others had facilitated illegal appointments to the
undeserving and unlisted candidates to the post of Group-C staff in various schools across the State.

The arrested accused will be produced today before the Court of Special Judge, CBI Court, Alipore, Kolkata.
