CBI Arrests NTPC Senior Manager For Accepting Bribe Of Rs 8 Lakh

Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a senior manager of NTPC Ltd. in New Delhi in a case related to the acceptance of 8 lakh rupees as a bribe from the complainant. CBI registered a case on a complaint from the Vice President of an Advertising company against the person on allegations of demanding a bribe for passing the bill of the complainant’s company. A trap was laid by the CBI and the



accused was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe from the complainant in Mumbai as the accused flew from Delhi to Mumbai to accept the undue advantage.

CBI conducted searches at the premises of the accused in Noida. The accused will be produced before the Competent Court today.
