CBI arrests Suman Chattopadhyay in chit fund scam

The CBI arrested senior journalist Suman Chattopadhyay in Kolkata yesterday for his alleged involvement in chit fund scam in West Bengal.

Investigations

revealed that funds collected illegally by the ponzi company I-Core Group were allegedly diverted into the accounts of Chattopadhyay and the media company where he is the director.
