In Bihar, the CBI filed its first charge sheet against all the accused including prime accused Brajesh Thakur in the Muzaffarpur shelter home case under the POCSO Act.
The agency filed its charge sheet against 21 people, including Thakur, his employees and associate and a government officer before a special court.
While Brajesh Thakur and his employees have been made charged for exploiting the girls, government officials have been booked for negligence of duty.
According to CBI
spokesperson probe is on for suspected activities and misuse of government funds by prime accused Brajesh Thakur and his kin. The CBI is likely to file supplementary chargesheet in coming days.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate has summoned the son of Brajesh Thakur on 24 of this month while her wife on 26th.
The CBI had started inquiry into sexual abuse of 34 minor girls at state funded shelter home in Muzaffarpur district in July this year.
