Kolkata: Central Bureau of Investigation has filed the first charge sheet in relation with the cases of post-poll violence in West Bengal. The charge sheet was submitted before Rampurhat Sub-Divisional Court in Birbhum district yesterday. According to sources, it contains names of two accused allegedly involved in the murder of Manoj Jaiswal, claimed to be a BJP worker.

Investigation has been investigating cases of alleged murder, rape and crime against women as per the order of the Calcutta High Court. The central agency has filed 34 FIRs so far. The Calcutta High Court also constituted a Special Investigation Team consisting of senior IPS officers of the state. The State Government named 10 IPS officers to assist the SIT yesterday.
