CBI will question former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat today over the allegation of offering bribe to MLAs to save his government.
Last month, when Congress government was facing rebellion by its MLAs, Mr. Rawat, in a sting operation, was allegedly shown offering bribe to them to bring back in the party fold. 
Later, President’s Rule was imposed in the state.
Centre has been citing the sting operation among one of the reasons for sacking the Congress rule government.

Rawat came under attack on Sunday over a new sting video with BJP accusing him of trying to buy legislators.
A purported sting video targeting Mr. Rawat which allegedly showed a conversation between rebel Congress MLA Harak Singh Rawat and Congress legislator Madan Singh Bisht was released yesterday by a TV channel.
BJP leader Bhagat Singh Koshiyari alleged that the video showed that Harish Rawat was himself involved in horse-trading.
Mr. Harish Rawat claimed that MLAs were being threatened and their phones were tapped by central agencies.
