CEC Sushil Chandra arrives in Dehradun

Dehradun: Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra and other senior officers of the commission reached Dehradun yesterday on a two-day visit to review preparations for Assembly Election in the state of  Uttarakhand.  

The Election Commission team held a meeting with representatives of various political parties,



district election officers and Police officers on the first day of their visit.

Today a meeting will be held with the Chief Secretary and the Director-General of Police to review the preparation of the election. The term of current assembly elected in 2017 will expire on 23 March 2022.
