Central Bureau of Narcotics has said that its Preventive and Intelligence cell seized nearly 53 kilogram Tramadol pills and powder and over 1 kilogram of substance suspected to be opium, during the raids in Delhi and Haryana.

The bureau said that the department had got specific information about a clandestine manufacturing plant of Tramadol in Bawana, New Delhi and its forefront store in Haryana, selling the manufactured Tramadol in



disguise of Ayurvedic Medicines.

The officials said that acting on the said specific information joint preventive team of Central Bureau of Narcotics New Delhi and Gwalior conducted raids in Delhi and Haryana.

He said, the manufacturing unit was running in disguise as a Honey processing plant and the manufactured Tramadol Tablets were branded as Ayurvedic medicine.
