Central Railway restored services at the accident site near Nashik on Mumbai-Nashik route in the afternoon yesterday. Railway employees worked overnight to restore services. Track safe and maintenance vehicles cleared from site to the nearest station around 2.15 p.m. Later, 11055 LTT - Gorakhpur passed the site at 02.55 p.m. But, few trains were rescheduled.

Express leaving CSMT and Patliputra express leaving LTT will depart late by approximately four hours as trains coming towards Mumbai are arriving late. Few coaches of LTT-Jaynagar Pawan Express were derailed pm Simday between Lahavit and Devlali (near Nashik) around 3 p.m. Few passengers were injured in this accident. Around 300 metres of track was damaged in the accident.
