A nine-member central team reached Odisha last night to take stock of the situation in cyclone Fani-affected areas. 

The inter-ministerial team is being led by Additional Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs Vivek Bharadwaj. The team will be split into two groups. 

It will visit Puri and Khurda districts, the worst affected by



the cyclone, today and tomorrow. 

It will visit some of the affected areas in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area on Wednesday before holding a meeting with senior state government officials, including Chief Secretary AP Padhi.

The team will submit a report to the Centre on the damage caused by the cyclone.
