Central university for Divyangs to be set up in Uttar Pradesh

Government will set up a Central university for Divyangs in Uttar Pradesh. This was stated by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar while addressing the convocation function of Shakuntala Mishra national rehabilitation university in Lucknow yesterday. 

Mr Javadekar said, he also discussed the matter with Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawar



Chand Gehlot. He also said, under the Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan, his Ministry has instructed to make ramps and install lifts to facilitate Divyangas at all educational institutions. 

The Minister said, the University Grants Commission has been instructed to make arrangement for special training of instructors providing education to Divyangs.
