Centre provided Rs.1,42,000 cr to youth under PMMY: Nadda

Union Health Minister J P Nadda has said that Central government has provided one lakh 42 thousand crore rupees to youth for self employment under the PM Mudra Yojna. Mr Nadda was interacting with educationists in DAV college of Engineering and Technology in Jalandhar as part of celebrations of competition of two years of the NDA Government. On this



occasion, Minister of Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Centre has signed an MOU with Germany for skill development in technical field. He informed that number of skilled construction workers has increased from 30 lakh in 2014-2015 to 92 lakh in 2015-2016 and now the target is two crore skilled workers by next year.
