Brushing aside Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao's demand for an apology, BJP national president Amit Shah stood by his statement that the Centre provided over 1 lakh-crore rupees aid to Telangana state.
Addressing the party's booth level committee meeting in Hyderabad last night, he said, the Narendra Modi government gave over 1 lakh-crore rupees aid to Telangana. It’s a fact we are not doing a favour to
Telangana.
It is the right of Telangana people, the BJP chief said. He added, Telangana people have a right over Narendra Modi government and it’s the duty of the Centre to develop Telangana.
