Centre Releases 15th Finance Commission Grants for Rural Local Bodies in Rajasthan & Odisha

The government has released the Fifteenth Finance Commission Grants during 2024-25, for Rural Local Bodies in Rajasthan and Odisha. For Rajasthan, the second installment of Untied Grants amounting to over 560 crore rupees, along with the withheld amount of 1st installment of Untied Grants of over 53 crores have been released. Ministry of Panchayati Raj said in a statement that these funds are for ten thousand 105 eligible Gram Panchayats, 315 eligible Block Panchayats and twenty eligible



District Panchayats of the state.

The second installment of Untied Grants of the Financial Year 2024-25 for Rural Local Bodies in Odisha, amounting to over 370 crore rupees has been released. The withheld amount of 1st installment of Untied Grants amounting to over 84 crore rupees has also been released. These funds are for all eligible 6794 Gram Panchayats, 314 Block Panchayats and 30 District Panchayats of Odisha.
