Centre sanctions about 360 crore Rupees for welfare of dalits

Centre has sanctioned nearly 360 crore rupees to 18 states, so far, for the welfare of dalits as part of its special assistance scheme.

Empowerment Ministry, in a statement, said the amount has been sanctioned for this financial year under the scheme of Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Castes Sub Plan.
