Centre to launch evening meal scheme in AES affected districts of Bihar: Ashwani Kumar Choubey

Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwani Kumar Choubey has said that the Centre will launch evening meal scheme among children in Acute Encephalitis Syndrome affected districts of Bihar on the line of midday meal scheme.

Mr Choubey was talking to media persons after



reviewing the encephalitis situation with medical experts in Patna yesterday.

Earlier, members of the medical expert team had said that most of the encephalitis affected children were malnourished and they were suffering from hyperglycemia.
