Chandigarh airport to be named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh today

Chandigarh: Chandigarh airport will be named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary today. In his Mann ki Baat Programme on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced this while paying rich tributes to freedom fighters.

Mr Modi

has said that the decision has been taken as a tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Prime Minister had also congratulated the people of Chandigarh, Punjab, and Haryana and of the entire country for this decision.
