Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu yesterday moved into his chambers in the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi in Guntur district. He said empowerment of every family is his main aim and he would strive hard to develop all the regions in the state.
The Chief Minister said that a new chapter has started. Explaining the pains of state bifurcation and the gesture of farmers of the region by offering their lands for capital development, he said that the Interim Government complex was completed in a record time of 8 months and it would start functioning fully from month end.
The government, earlier has fixed October 3 as the deadline for shifting of the employees to Velagapudi and the Chief Minister too did a lot of work by way of appeasing the employees with a slew of freebees and let the
Ministers move into the chambers in advance as part of setting the tone for letting the wheels of administration move on from the new capital.
After inauguration of CM office at Interim Government complex at Velagapudi, Mr. Naidu signed on the first file of second phase of loan waiver for DWCRA women. He said every DWCRA woman would get Rs 3000 as second installment and it would cost the state exchequer Rs 2,500 crore. The Chief Minister said that the state government is giving priority for empowerment of women as it is essential for development of the state. He said the digital agencies in rural areas would be handed over to DWCRA groups. He said DWCRA women were entrusted with the job of geo tagging in their areas and maintaining agricultural service centres. He said the DWCRA groups are ahead in service sector.
