New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu slammed BJP president Amit Shah for doubting his faith in PM Narendra Modi and told him to show proof in support of his alleged comments against the PM. In a statement released by him, Naidu said that Shah’s comments mean that I believe more in the Pakistani PM than his Indian counterpart.
Naidu further accused the saffron party of resorting to mudslinging on TDP, TMC and the Congress by alleging that they are trying to politicise the death of jawans.
Naidu had earlier said that PM Modi should resign after the Pulwama terror attack as he had made similar demands from the then PM Manmohan Singh after terror attacks in Bihar and Kashmir.
The TDP president also urged
the PM to come clean on allegations that he spent three hours shooting for a television channel programme when the Pulwama terror attack took place.
“We don't need to learn lessons from Amit Shah in patriotism. Those who are claiming to have patriotism in their blood, have shamed the entire nation through Rafale aircraft purchase scam,” he further said.
The CM also urged the BJP to put an end to false campaign against him and demanded an apology from Shah against his remarks and to apologise to the nation.
The BJP and the TDP have been at loggerheads ever since they broke alliance last year. While the TDP accused the BJP of not fulfilling its promise, the saffron party accused the TDP of political opportunism.
