Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the Union Cabinet’s decision to extend a ₹5 lakh health insurance scheme to all senior citizens aged 70 years and above. This decision was made during the recent Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where it was resolved to expand the Ayushman Bharat-PPradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. This extension is



expected to benefit nearly 6 crore people across India who are over 70 years old.

The Chief Minister praised the NDA government for its continued focus on welfare schemes aimed at public well-being. He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for implementing such an innovative and impactful initiative.
