The Yamunotri Dham is scheduled to open on April 30, along with Gangotri Dham, which will also welcome devotees on the same day. The doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will reopen on May 2, and Shri Badrinath Dham on May 4, according to the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC).

Preparations are underway to ensure the safety and convenience of pilgrims. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasised the Yatra’s importance to the

state’s economy and said the government is fully committed to a safe and smooth pilgrimage.

BKTC officials have been inspecting various temple sites and facilities ahead of the Yatra. The Char Dham Yatra, one of the most significant Hindu pilgrimages, includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The journey follows a traditional clockwise route starting from Yamunotri and ending at Badrinath.
