Chhattisgarh state legislative assembly has suspended its budget session sittings till March 25 in the wake of spread of CoVID-19 virus.
The business advisory committee of the assembly took the decision as a precautionary measure yesterday. The on-going budget session was scheduled to resume again on March
16 after Holi holidays.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also said that the state is strictly following the centre's guidelines to deal with the pandemic. Chhattisgarh has also ordered closure of schools, colleges and technical institutions till March 31.
