Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel directs the Police Department to raise a Bastar Special Force

In Chhattisgarh, a Special Force will be raised to counter Maoist problem in tribal Bastar region.

 

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel directed the Police Department to raise a Bastar Special Force.

 

In a meeting held last evening in Raipur, he said that youth from Gram



Panchayats in sensitive areas of Bastar division should be recruited in this Bastar Special Force.

 

It will not only ensure employment, but their presence will give an advantage to the police in terms of knowledge of local dialects and the terrain.
