Chhattisgarh Government has abolished the obligation of Quarantine for persons coming to Chhattisgarh from other states.
The state government has also decided not to open schools at present, in the wake of the prevailing situation due to spread of coronavirus in the state.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet held on Thursday.
Corona infection continues to increase in Chhattisgarh. In view of this, the State cabinet has decided that the schools will be kept closed till the situation improves.
The cabinet has also decided that the major
event to be held to mark the foundation day of Chhattisgarh on November 1 every year will not be held this year.
Only the State Investiture Ceremony will be held at the Chief Minister's residence office.
Meanwhile, the number of COVID patients are increasing in Chhattisgarh. But at the same time, the number of people recovering from infection are also significantly increasing.
So far, more than one lakh patients in the state have recovered after the treatment. The recovery rate in the state has increased to seventy eight percent.
