The Chhattisgarh Government will launch the Ramlala Darshan Scheme, a pilgrimage to the newly built Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

The decision was made during a state cabinet meeting held yesterday in Raipur.

Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed with IRCTC for the



implementation of this scheme. Individuals in the age group of eighteen to seventy-five years will be eligible to be covered under the scheme.

He informed that approximately twenty thousand individuals will be selected for Ayodhya visit each year and the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board will be responsible for implementing the scheme.
