Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar stated that the centre of gravity is in Delhi, in the current scheme of things. Speaking at a session of the Raisina Dialogue, the Navy Chief pointed out that if one flies from the Aegean to the South China Sea, New Delhi is exactly in between. He said that in all recent conflicts, be it Israel-Hamas or the Ukraine war, the changing nature of warfare is evident. He stressed on the need to adapt to the use of modern technologies, which are lately becoming more affordable and accessible.

He said that as the largest contributor to meeting the global SDG targets, India serves as a model for others on this journey. He added that India is on track to meet its goals despite the challenges.
The Minister of State highlighted that India’s development story has never been in contradiction to the global good. He added that India's approach and actions demonstrate its commitment to building a better world.
