The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday arrested a Chinese national at the border post in Milik Sultanpur of Malda district in West Bengal on the India-Bangladesh border. The Chinese national named Han Junwei had entered into India from the Bangladesh side of the border.

A Chinese passport, laptop, two iphones, a Bangladeshi SIM, an Indian SIM and two Chinese SIM cards, pen drives, money transaction machines, US dollars, Bangladeshi Taka and Indian rupee was discovered from his possession, said a BSF social



media post.

It is learnt that he is from the Hubei province of China. Interrogation by BSF revealed that his alleged business partner was arrested by the Anti-terrorist squad of the UP police. The BSF officials told the media that interrogation is going on to ascertain further details about the intruder.

He had entered Bangladesh on June 2 and stayed in Dhaka with a friend. From there he came to Chapainawabganj district from where he was trying to intrude into India when BSF arrested him.
