CISF is a multi-dimensional security organisation: Rajnath Singh

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the CISF is a multi-dimensional security organisation whose role in future is going to increase as Indian economy progress rapidly. Speaking at the function at Tiril Ashram near Ranchi yesterday while inaugurating the newly built CISF Eastern -Sector Headquarter, he said that CISF has been doing very well and it has to increase it's core competency to deal with terrorism and cyber security. 

Mr. Rajnath Singh also laid foundation stone for Residential Complex of CISF Eastern Sector Headquarters and also inaugurated other CISF installations in the premise like Dog Training



Institute.

Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghuwar Das, in his speech, promised all helps, like providing 100 acres land for Training Center, to the CISF. He said that there are very good reasons for CISF to have it's Easter Sector headquarter at Ranchi in Jharkhand. He also listed out important steps taken by his government to make Jharkhand free from extremists and criminal violence. He emphasized that his government would end extremist violence by the year end.
