Rajasthan Crisis Updates: The Rajasthan Congress Legislature Party (CLP) today passed a resolution supporting the Ashok Gehlot-led government in the state, hours after in a major show of strength 102 MLAs turned up at the chief minister’s residence ahead of the meeting. The meet was called by the party amid the crisis caused by deputy CM Sachin Pilot’s rebellion. The resolution passed at the CLP meet said: "This ripping off of democracy by BJP is an insult to eight crore people of Rajasthan, they'll not accept it. CLP meet expresses its confidence in Congress President Sonia Gandhi and leader Rahul
Gandhi, and unanimously supports the government led by Ashok Gehlot."
The morning saw not simply chaotic conferences and a war of words between the BJP and Congress yet in addition strikes by the IT office on the living arrangements and properties of two of Gehlot's nearby comrades, with the Congress considering it a "witch-chase". As gossipy tidbits flew about Pilot escaping to hold hands with the BJP, the revolutionary head supposedly told the Congress that working under Gehlot was "intense". Sources near Pilot, in any case, said more than likely, he would drift his own gathering.
