Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal stated that if his party comes to power in Assam, he will provide free electricity and jobs, while addressing a rally in the state on Sunday.
Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party of doing nothing but play “dirty politics” in the Northeastern state, the Delhi chief minister promised jobs to all the unemployed youths of Assam.
“AAP came to power in Delhi in 2015 and the BJP here in 2016. Today, we have changed the face of Delhi. What has Himanta babu (Assam
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma) done for the state in seven years? Nothing, only dirty politics,” Arvind Kejriwal said in the rally.
Kejriwal also highlighted that the AAP has given employment to 12 lakh people in Delhi in seven years, and 28,000 people in one year in Punjab. It will be the same in Assam, too, if the party forms government here.
The Delhi Chief Minister has also promised to provide piped water to all households of Guwahati within a year of the party forming government in Assam.
