Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday received a rare invitation from California
Governor Edmond G Brown to participate in an international conference on
‘Climate Change’ to be held in San Francisco in June.
A delegation from California, led by Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Nisha Biswal called on IT Minister K T Rama Rao and extended the invitation for the event ‘Sub Continental Clean Energy Ministerial’ to deliberate on innovative plans by Clean Energy Department.

Chandrashekar Rao’s initiatives of encouraging solar energy and others that are
similar to the target of world nations to reduce global warming by 2 degrees
Celsius by the end of 21st century.
The team also shared its view of doing business in potential sectors, skill development training and evinced keen interest in working together to face challenges like low rainfall and reduction in green cover.
