The DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin urged the party, local body representatives, to work tirelessly for the people's welfare, without leaving any grounds for complaints. He addressed the party's urban local body representatives in a conference at Namakkal yesterday.
He said he will take stringent action
against erring people. He said the government has fulfilled up to 80 percent of the promises made in the party election manifesto within a year. He said the local body positions have been the precursor for many leaders including him to ascend in a political career and asked them to work sincerely for the people's welfare.
