Indian Coast Guard rescued nine Indian crew members from a sunken vessel, MSV Taj Dhare Haram on Thursday. The vessel was located nearly 311 kilometers west of Porbandar, Gujarat, in Pakistan’s Search and Rescue Region.
The vessel, which had set sail from Gujarat’s Mundra, was
headed to Yemen and was battered by rough seas and onboard flooding. Defence Ministry said in a statement that the search and rescue mission showcases exceptional collaboration between the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centres of Mumbai and Pakistan’s Karachi.
