Cold to severe cold wave conditions is likely to continue over the plains of Northwest India during the next three days, and decrease thereafter. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasts that the minimum temperatures will be in the range of 3 to 7 degrees Celsius over most parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
The lowest minimum temperature of 2.5 degrees Celsius was reported at Ludhiana in Punjab yesterday. Cold Day to Severe
Cold Day condition is also likely to continue in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar till today.
The Weather agency has predicted that dense to very dense fog conditions are likely to continue over North India during the next 4 to 5 days. The fog condition is likely to prevail for a few hours in the night and morning in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
