New Delhi: The MeT Office has forecast improvement in Cold wave conditions in Northern parts of the country, including Delhi, Haryana and Punjab, for the next couple of days. Director General, IMD, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, attributed the improvement in cold wave conditions to a western disturbance.
In Rajasthan, an increase of 1-2 degree Celsius in minimum and maximum temperature has been recorded in most parts of the State along with the reduction in fog. The minimum temperature is likely to increase further by 2 to 4 degree
Celsius in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Due to the effect of a western disturbance, there is a possibility of a partly cloudy sky in the north-western parts of the State during the next 48 hours and light drizzle at one or two places in Ganganagar-Hanumangarh and surrounding areas on the 29th of December.
From the 31st of December, there is a possibility of a drop in temperature once again and an increase in dense fog in the northern parts of the State.
