Commonwealth Parliamentary Association's India Region-IV conference to begin in Shimla today

In Himachal Pradesh, two day Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Indian Region-IV, Conference and Workshop is being organised in Shimla today. 

Lok Sabha, Speaker and the President of Commonwealth Parliamentary Union Indian Region Sumitra Mahajan will inaugurate and preside over the Conference. 

Secretary-General of Lok Sabha Snehlata Shrivastav,Secretary of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Surendra Nath Tripathi, and Secretaries of



all State Legislative Assemblies are participating in the Conference. 

During the two day conference and workshop a detailed presentation will be given on the National e-Legislative system and its effects and benefits. 

A deliberation on Lok sabha and vidhan sabha election to held together and increased consumption of narcotics- its side effect and solution will also be discussed during the conference.
