Congress has demanded that the Centre should conduct elections in Jammu and Kashmir as soon as possible and also restore full statehood. Senior party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that Article - 370 was a temporary measure since its beginning.
He was reacting to
the Supreme Court's verdict backing the move to scrap special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 outside Parliament. Mr.Chowdhury said the Central government should tell when the elections will be held in the UT.
